Dr. Ikeda is a postdoctoral fellow who provides compassionate, evidence-based care grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). Her approach is collaborative and individualized, with a focus on helping clients meet their therapeutic goals, live in accordance with their values, and develop skills that support meaningful change.

Dr. Ikeda works with young adults and adults experiencing anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), panic, social anxiety, and depression. She has specialized training in the assessment and treatment of OCD and related conditions. She also has a particular interest in supporting individuals during the perinatal period, including pregnancy and postpartum, and has experience providing care across a range of clinical concerns during this transition.

Dr. Ikeda earned her M.A. in Behavioral and Cognitive Neuroscience from San Diego State University and completed her doctoral training in Clinical Psychology at Emory University. Her research focused on the developmental effects of prenatal substance exposure and improving maternal mental health outcomes. She completed her predoctoral residency at the Alpert Medical School of Brown University, where she trained across partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient settings, including clinical rotations in a perinatal partial hospitalization program and OCD intensive outpatient program.

Dr. Ikeda strives to create a therapeutic environment where clients feel understood, respected, and supported, and believes meaningful change is fostered through collaboration, compassion, and an appreciation of each person’s unique experiences.
