Teen Social Anxiety Group
In this group, Shailee guides teens in understanding and overcoming their social anxiety in a safe and fun setting. By participating in a group setting, group members will be with other teens who share an understanding of what social anxiety feels like and how it impacts their lives. Teens will have the opportunity for exposures to practice overcoming their social anxiety incrementally using Exposure and Response Prevention (CBT/ERP). They will also be able to practice identifying, checking, and changing unhelpful thinking patterns which maintain social anxiety. Shailee is an experienced group leader and connects well with teens. She creates an environment where participants can comfortably challenge themselves to step outside of their comfort zone.
