Dr. Bailey (she/her) is a licensed clinical psychologist with expertise in the provision of evidence-based care for children, adolescents, young adults, and their families. She has completed Linehan Board Certification (DBT-LBC) and places high value on adherent delivery of the DBT treatment model. At MCG, Dr. Bailey serves as the Director of DBT services. She specializes in the treatment of emotion dysregulation, as well as mood and anxiety disorders, personality disorders, PTSD/trauma-related disorders, and co-occurring suicidal and self-injurious behavior. Dr. Bailey is also trained in DBT-Sleep, with training in the assessment and incorporation of sleep challenges into DBT work.
Dr. Bailey earned her doctorate from Loyola University of Maryland. She completed her predoctoral internship at the Institute of Living, in Hartford, CT. Before coming to MCG, Dr. Bailey spent seven years at McLean Hospital, where she was both a therapist and then the director of clinical services at McLean Hospital’s 3East Boys Residential Program. She has also previously worked at McLean Hospital’s OCD Institute for Children and Adolescents (OCDI Jr).
