Siggi Schorr is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Registered Drama Therapist.  She received her Master of Arts in Drama Therapy with specialization in Mental Health Counseling from Lesley University. She completed her practicum and internship at 2Life Communities and McLean Hospital. Following this, Siggi worked at McLean OCD Institute as both the Partial Hospitalization Program Coordinator and a community residence counselor. 

Siggi’s clinical areas of interest include OCD, anxiety, depression, body image concerns, trauma work, and self-discovery. She also focuses on supporting queer humans and religious minorities. Siggi focuses on a multidisciplinary approach with her main modalities being ERP for OCD/anxiety, CBT, and ACT. She also has an interest in working to encourage self-compassion, creative expression, and a value driven life. Siggi values building a strong therapeutic relationship through empathy and validation while helping individuals reach their value-based goals. Using these tools, along with feedback and humor, Siggi looks forward to helping you live the life you want to live!

In addition to her work with the Mindfulness and Change Group, she is a member of the Coalition for Circus Arts and Drama Therapy research lab. Siggi has been involved with research focusing on the intersection of Drama Therapy and Therapeutic Circus Arts and its benefits. Her research has been published in The Drama Therapy Review and has presented at conference poster sessions and a university workshop.
